Special events that concern the City are those that may impact City streets and services, public safety, citizen welfare, or disrupt traffic and community activities. Private parties are not covered by the special event guidelines unless extenuating circumstances apply. The Special Event Permit request process begins with submitting an application to the City for review to determine what permits may be required for the event. Gazebo Event Permit Application

The City of Palos Verdes Estates is committed to protecting the beauty, safety, and accessibility of our treasured public spaces—including the iconic Roessler Point Gazebo. In response to increased activity at this location and to better serve both residents and vendors, the City is implementing a summer enforcement and education initiative, while clarifying an important update to existing processes. The City, therefore, imposes specific conditions upon the sponsors of such events. Application for Group Gatherings at Farnham Martin Park 

Unlike Malaga Cove Library, Farnham Martin Park is a public park operated by the city. Block Party Permit Application

The City is supportive of neighborhood activities that promote a greater sense of community. This contributes to the ambiance of our City. Block parties concern the City when they may impact City streets and services, public safety, citizen welfare or disrupt traffic and community activities, or create liability issues. Block parties are informal gatherings among residents in a specific and narrowly defined area of a neighborhood in Palos Verdes Estates. The Block Party Permit request process begins with submitting an application to the City for review to determine what may be required for the event.

Film & Photography Permit Application

A film permit is required for any commercial motion picture or still photography shoots.
