Updated Fire Hazard Severity Zones Adopted

On July 8, 2025, the City Council formally adopted updated Fire Hazard Severity Zone maps for the City’s Local Responsibility Areas.

These maps reflect the finalized hazard designations provided by CAL FIRE and the Office of the State Fire Marshal, identifying areas within Palos Verdes Estates that may fall within Moderate, High, or Very High fire hazard zones.
