Councilmember Craig Quinn was elected to a four-year term on November 5, 2024. His term ends in 2028.
With over three decades of leadership experience in the corporate healthcare insurance sector and a deep commitment to community engagement, Councilmember Quinn is dedicated to securing a prosperous, sustainable future for the city while honoring its unique heritage and traditions.
Councilmember Quinn's professional career spans roles in profit and loss management, budgeting, personnel leadership, and public sector benefit negotiations. Currently, he leverages his expertise in marketing at West Bay Capital, a high-yield debt fund, while also managing his family’s real estate investments. His ability to navigate complex financial and operational challenges has been a cornerstone of his success, both in the private sector and in public service.
Councilmember Quinn's extensive community involvement reflects his dedication to fostering a strong, connected Palos Verdes Estates. Over the years, he has served on various business and nonprofit boards and has been an active supporter of the PTSA, Booster Club, and local youth programs. Known for his collaborative leadership style and pragmatic approach to problem-solving, Craig excels at building consensus and delivering results.

Originally from Philadelphia, Councilmember Quinn earned a degree in Radio, Television, and Film from Temple University. Since moving to Palos Verdes Estates in 2001 with his wife Colleen, he has been deeply rooted in the South Bay community. Married since 1988, they raised two sons who attended local schools and are now professionals in the Los Angeles area, continuing the family’s tradition of excellence and service.
In addition to his public service and professional achievements, Councilmember Quinn is a member of the Southern California Sports Broadcasters and has been announcing high school sports for nearly a decade, showcasing his passion for teamwork and community spirit.
