FOLLOW UP CONSTRUCTION NOTICE
ANNUAL MISCELLANEOUS INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT (FY25/26)

TEMPORARY DAILY STREET CLOSURE ON VIA CATALUNA
To Residents and Property Owners:
As part of the ongoing construction work in your area for the Annual Miscellaneous Infrastructure Project (FY25/26), Via Cataluna between Via Fernandez and Via Margarita will be fully closed to through traffic during working hours of 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday starting on Monday, June 22, 2026, through Friday, July 24, 2026.
PROJECT INFORMATION
The Project includes the following improvements located at Via Cataluna, Via Coronel, and Via Las Vegas as outlined below.
- Via Cataluna (from Via Fernandez to 1325 Via Cataluna)
- Improvements include removal and replacement of the 36” storm drain pipe, construction of a storm drain manhole and junction structure.
- Via Coronel (between 903 and 907 Via Coronel)
- Improvements include removal and replacement of the 12” storm drain pipe, reconstruction of the catch basin, and localized pavement and concrete repairs.
- Via Las Vegas (between Palos Verdes Drive North and Via La Selva)
- Improvements localized pavement concrete repairs and injection of a polyurethane grout within the existing void.

STREET CLOSURE INFORMATION
The following traffic control measures will be in place during the duration of the work on Via Cataluna.
- Be sure to remove your vehicle from the street by the posted time on the “NO PARKING” signs. Observe
- the date(s) on the signs carefully.
- Please do not park your vehicles on the roadway. Please do not allow water to run on the roadway.
- Trash pickup will be adjusted to early morning pick-up hours at 6:30 AM for the duration of the work on Via Cataluna. Please be sure to have trash ready for early morning pick-up.
RESIDENT ACCESS
Residents and property owners located within the closure limits will continue to have access to their homes and properties. Residents requiring access through the work zone during working hours will be escorted by construction personnel when conditions permit. Please allow additional travel time and follow all directions provided by onsite staff.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete these improvements. Every effort will be made to minimize inconvenience while maintaining a safe work environment for residents, motorists, and construction crews.
