Construction Notice : FY 24/25 Annual Resurfacing Project 

The City of Palos Verdes Estates (City) has awarded a contract to Hardy and Harper, Inc. for the FY 24/25 Annual Resurfacing Project- Via Valmonte, Via Nivel, Via Estudillo, Via Romero. 

SCOPE OF WORK 

This project involves, but is not limited to, cold milling existing AC pavement, Asphalt Rubber Hot Mix (ARHM) overlay, localized concrete repairs, pavement striping and markings. 

STREET CLOSURES & NO PARKING 

Hardy and Harper, Inc. will make every effort to keep driveways to all residences and businesses open at all times, but there may be a time when the driveway may be temporarily inaccessible. We will try to minimize any inconvenience to your business. Emergency vehicles and all other services will have access throughout the duration of the Project. There will be “No Parking” signs posted throughout the project indicating the specific dates work will be performed in that area. 

During construction, access to through traffic may be delayed and we ask the following: 

• Be sure to remove your vehicle from the street by the posted time on the “NO PARKING” signs. Observe the date(s) on the signs carefully. 

• Please do not park your vehicles on the roadway. 

• Please do not allow water to run on the roadway. 

• Trash pickup will NOT be disrupted, but please do not place trash cans or other debris in the roadway. 

SCHEDULE & CONTACT INFORMATION 

The project is scheduled for June 2025 through July 2025. Daily working hours shall be between 7:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during the construction of the improvements to help the project run as smoothly as possible.
