On Wednesday, June 30, at 6:30 pm, the PVEPD will be hosting a Coyote Information Session on Zoom. All are encouraged to attend to learn more about Coyotes in PVE. We will discuss coyote behavior, reporting procedures and have an opportunity to hear from Fernando Barrera, who works for the LA County Department of Agricultural, Weights, and Measures. Mr. Barrera is funded through LA County Supervisor Janice Hahn’s office and is dedicated to coyote issues on the Peninsula. Mr. Barrera spends a significant amount of time reviewing the reported sightings and information, contacting the persons reporting the activity, and doing follow-up investigations when needed.
