The City of Palos Verdes Estates is committed to financial transparency and responsible spending.

As the City seeks to continuously improve the methods for accessing information, a partnership with OpenGov was commenced and we are proud to present our Financial Transparency portal. 

The portal is designed to bring visibility, openness, and accountability to our operations. By leveraging the OpenGov platform, residents and Stakeholders will have direct access to the City's check history.  

This site provides users the opportunity to view, filter, analyze and download this data for offline viewing.

Navigation Tips

Check History 1

OpenGov’s Grid Reports allow you to explore individual transactions in a simple user interface. The main view, depicted here, includes a grid with various controls to view all or individual expenses.

Check 2 
There is a search bar located at the top of the screen. This search bar allows you to search for any text across the grid.

Check 3
There are many ways to apply filters to the grid data. You may use the Filter panel located to the left of the report. You can also click on the filter icon for a specific column to apply a filter.

Check 4
At any point you are able to visualize the data, or display a graphical representation of the data, in the grid. To do this, click on the Visualizations button on the left hand side of the screen. The visualization will show total amounts, grouped by year. You are able to control the breakdown of the visualization in the Breakdown menu.

Check 5
You can share any grid view via social media or through email. There is also the option to download the source data as a .csv spreadsheet in the Download menu.
