On behalf of the City of Palos Verdes Estates, thank you for visiting our website and our City.
Growing up in Palos Verdes Estates, and attending the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District schools, I always thought PVE was such a sleepy town with nothing much to do where all the businesses shut down by 10:30pm. I thought I was going to move to somewhere with a little more hustle and bustle and a lot more nightlife. As I’ve moved about a bit, and started my own family, what I once considered as a sleepy town translated into a serene and quiet paradise and a great place to raise my own family. Palos Verdes Estates, under the protection of our own Police Department, ranks fourth on the list of the safest cities in California. Our school district, with 5 of its schools and the school district administration campus in Palos Verdes Estates, consistently has been one of the highest achieving school districts in California and in the Country. Here in Palos Verdes Estates, our residents and visitors alike can surf in the early morning, grab some brunch in one of our quaint restaurants, hike one of our Parklands, get some food for a picnic at one of our two markets, and watch the sunset along the bluff tops. The City also has other offerings, such as the Palos Verdes Golf Club, Palos Verdes Tennis Club, Palos Verdes Beach and Athletic Club, and Palos Verdes Stables. Membership of these Clubs and the Stables are offered to both PVE residents and non-residents and are open for use to the general public.
Palos Verdes Estates is truly one of the most beautiful gems in the country. We are glad to invite you to be a part of it.
