At the September 26, 2017 City Council meeting, the Palos Verdes High School Principal's Advisory Committee (PAC) was recognized by the Mayor and City Council and invited to lead the flag salute.

PVHS strives to be a community of positive affiliation and engagement that embraces individuality and promotes self-growth. The Principal's Advisory Council is as a leadership and peer-mentoring group who are ambassadors for the principal to the community and school.

To list a few accomplishments, PVHS has received the distinction of being a:

  • California Distinguished School
  • Gold Ribbon School

As a reflection of how well PVHS prepares its students for college, its graduating class of seniors in 2016 was offered over $17 million in undergraduate merit and athletic scholarships. 640 students took a total 1238 AP tests with a pass rate of 70%, receiving a score of 3 or higher.

Thank you to Principal Dr. Charles Park and the PVHS Principal's Advisory Committee for participating!
