Service Needs and Budget Limitations Discussion at 7/11 City Council Meeting
The City Council convened at its July 11, 2017 meeting to discuss how to address the City’s service needs and budget limitations. The City Council also received a progress report from Larry Tramutola, the City’s strategic planning consultant, on communicating city services affected by the loss of parcel tax revenue and evaluating whether the community desires a future ballot measure to pay for city services.

Police Evaluation Study
At its June 13, 2017 meeting, the City Council retained Lewis-McCrary Partners, Inc. for a management and services study of the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department. The goal is to evaluate its costs, operations, services, and service levels to identify savings, efficiencies, contracting alternatives, and sustainability.
