Today is Election Day!

Post Date:11/08/2016 8:34 AM

November 8th is Election Day!

If you voted at City Hall during the June 2016 Primary Election, your polling location has been changed to Malaga Cove Library, 2400 Vía Campesina. Please check in at the green table.

Remember, polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. in California.

According to the Secretary of State, ballots being personally delivered must be handed in by the close of polls on Nov. 8, 2016. Mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before Nov. 8 and received by county elections office by Nov. 11.

Busy at work all day? It's the law that an employer grant you time off to head to the polls if you don't have enough time during non-working hours.

To drop off a vote-by-mail ballot in person, you can bring it to:

  • The county's registrar of voters office, 12400 Imperial Hwy, Norwalk, CA 90650.
  • Any polling location across the county on Election Day, during election hours
