Annual Shred & E-Waste Event Scheduled for 11/5 

The City of Palos Verdes Estates will hold its annual FREE shredding and E-waste collection event in partnership with its waste hauler, Athens Services.

Date: Saturday, November 5, 2016

Location: Palos Verdes High School, Parking Lot, 600 Cloyden Road

Time: 8:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m.

  • Residents may bring up to three banker size boxes for shredding per household
  • Electronic Waste includes TV's, printers, DVD players, computers etc.
  • NOTE: No hazardous waste (such as paint, oil, light bulbs, etc.) will be accepted.

PVE Neighborhood Watch Annual Meeting and Election of Officers Scheduled for 11/6

PVE Neighborhood Watch will celebrate 36 years of protecting the community on Sunday, November 6th, 2015, 3 – 5 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

All PVE Residents are invited to attend this annual event. Home security information will be shared-- residents and Police are coming together to make our community safer.

General Election Updates -- November 8, 2016

• Effective now through November 7, City Hall is a drop-off location for any/all L.A. County Vote-by-Mail ballots (VBM) • October 24 is the last day to register to vote in the 11/8 election (postmark or electronically submitted)
• November 1 is the last day registered voters may request a Vote-by-Mail ballot from the County (postmark or electronically submitted)
• EARLY VOTING OPPORTUNITY JUST ANNOUNCED – El Camino College is one of 5 L.A. County locations where voters can cast a ballot.
