NOTICE THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF PALOS VERDES ESTATES IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR EXPIRING TERMS FOR COMMISSION AND COMMITTEES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there shall be the following vacancies on the following Commission and Committees, effective July 1, 2019 for 2-year terms ending June 30, 2021.
- PLANNING COMMISSION: (2 SEATS)
- PARKLANDS COMMITTEE: (3 SEATS)
- TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMITTEE (3 SEATS)
- FINANCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE (3 SEATS, INCLUDING 1 VACANCY OCCURRING ON 3/26/19)
- TECHNOLOGY ADVISORY COMMITTEE (2 SEATS)
- LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES SPECIAL TAX OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE (2 SEATS)
Applications must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office by 5:00 P.M. Friday, April 26, 2019. To be considered for appointment, an applicant must be a resident of the City of Palos Verdes Estates and registered voter. An “Application for Civic Service” can be requested from the City Clerk’s Office, 340 Palos Verdes Drive West, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274, by phone at 310-378-0383, or obtained from the City’s website at www.pvestates.org (HERE).
The City Council will conduct applicant interviews on May 11, 2011 and shall make appointments to fill all vacancies during the regular meeting of the City Council on May 28, 2019. May 11th will be the only date scheduled for all applicant interviews.
