Cal Water Open House: PV Peninsula Water Reliability Project

Thursday, June 21 from 10am-12pm at Palos Verdes High School (600 Cloyden Road)

Post Date:05/29/2018 9:00 AM
In June 2018, California Water Service (Cal Water) will begin the PV Peninsula Water Reliability Project, an important infrastructure upgrade that will improve water service to the residents and businesses on the Palos Verdes Peninsula for generations to come. Most importantly, the project will enhance the existing drinking water system with new mains and a new pump station — a much-needed addition to the Peninsula's infrastructure that will improve quality of life and water service reliability.

In order to install the new water pipelines, there will be closures of select streets and bridle trails, including a closure of the eastbound lane of PV Drive North between Dapplegray Lane and Dapplegray Elementary School from July 9 to August 10. There will also be partial lane closures along Crenshaw Boulevard between PV Drive North and Crest Road from the end of 2018 to Spring 2019.

We invite you to attend the second open house we will host to provide more information about the project and answer any questions you may have. The second open house will take place on Thursday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Palos Verdes High School (600 Cloyden Rd, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274). If you would like to attend, please RSVP by emailing
